1. We have developed and publicised Resource Material for Sunday School and Confirmation Class
This is an attempt to assist our member churches to be relevant and contextual in their Christian Education programmes.

Living Together in Christ
- is asset based – The people themselves with their stories of faith and experiences of life provide the material for Christian Education
- provides a framework for lessons – it gives background information and ideas for lesson preparations
- follows the church calendar
- is contextual – it has been developed by a team of experts from the region

2. We offer ToT (Training of Trainers) workshops and seminaries
In our workshops and seminaries we equip Christian Education Resource people of our member churches to implement the use of the resource material “Living together in Christ”.
- Capacity building – We provide training in how to use the resource material.
- Practical Exercises – in the workshops we do exemplary lesson planning.
- Strategic planning – We think about how best the resource material can be introduced and used in the member churches.
- Asset mapping – Together we try to understand that our churches are full of living assets; people, who give their time, who give their talents, who have their experiences with God and their stories of faith.
We expect the participants in the workshops to act as multiplicators in their member churches.

- Christian Education – A life long journey of faith
Christian Education is a life-long journey for all Christians. Its primary purpose is to equip all members of the church to participate in God’s Mission.
Our society is facing many challenges and changes and we have to make sure, that all believers are adequately nurtured and equipped to live their Christian faith. Our understanding of Christian Education is that of a life-long learning process, in which Christians continuously reflect and learn more about their faith. If we don’t take this ministry seriously in our church, our members will easily be swept away by other religions or false teachings. We want to prepare them to become living and active witnesses of God’s Mission in the world.
